sharon osberg (SharonO) > Next morning, the helicopters go on a reconnaissance mission. Yes!! We can fly. We'd been confined to the ship and surrounding ice for nearly 2 days and we're definitely ready to go to the rookery. In order to get all 100 passengers to the emperors and back again, the helicopter pilots agree to a very long 18-hr work day.
